Executive Chef Bill

Well known for his Prime Rib that he prepares in the kitchens of Grill5•8•4 for 8 hours to achieve the perfect peak in flavor and tenderness.

Tired of the constant commute as a consultant for Corporate restaurants, Chef Bill was happy to accept the invitation to stay and invest his talent and skill for a local, privately owned restaurant. His philosophy is "Do common things uncommonly well." Anyone can make a club sandwich, but Grill5•8•4 pays attention to having the freshest products and the best presentation so that a typical lunch order becomes a great experience for the guest.

Working at Grill5•8•4 is such a pleasant experience because the owners provide me with the flexibility to bring in the freshest, highest quality products daily. That way, I can make sure that each component to a dish adds the absolute best to the whole experience. I take great pride in what I offer to Grill5•8•4, because our guests are my family and friends, my neighbors. I've been in this area for a long time- my wife works in the community and my daughter attends school in the area as well. I feel like I am coming back to my roots and with all of my previous experience, I can make sure that each guest's experience is paramount. I nurture my reputation as a chef as an ongoing process- taking ownership of my influence in the kitchen and my relationship with the guests. I love to walk out and get feedback on the recipes! And I enjoy the crew that we've established at Grill5•8•4. I've got a kitchen full of good people who understand pride and integrity when it comes to preparing excellent meals and a superb experience for our guests! I enjoy mentoring a group of aspiring chefs who take propriety in the quality that is Grill5•8•4's reputation, and who understand that consistency is one of our highest goals. Guests can expect excellence every single time.

It is my personal goal to provide excellence to each guest every single time. Because this is my community as well, I listen carefully to what guests want, and am flexible with their needs. If someone has specific dietary requirements, it is my pleasure to tweak a recipe in order to accommodate them. Grill5•8•4 is a local restaurant in touch with the local neighborhood; and it is our pleasure to provide flexibility to create a personalized experience.

 

It is my passion to work with the best ingredients in order to make a great meal; and I love to work with layering spices and flavors to bring out the best in each dish.
